Leica have a flagship store within Causeway bay, its located on Island Place. It is probably one of those places in Hong Kong that will attract street photographer from all over. The street is interesting to many street photographer as well, just a few minutes walk from Watson road and its many other tiny shopping malls, it is definitely a nice place to stroll and shop while taking photographs at Leica flagship store. Street photography in Causeway Bay, Hong Kong
Leica cameras are immensely popular among street photographers, as they produce crisp and clear photos. Take an evening stroll on a sunny day in one of Hong Kong’s most vibrant neighborhoods, Causeway Bay, with Leica M-P 240, Leica 35mm Summilux f/1.4 ASPH lens and ISO 800 film by Kodak. Shooting film takes lots of practice, so it helps to take your time when you first start out with Leica photography. Taking pictures with Leica films are costly because every single photo will be counted. Be careful what you press as every photo must come from heart! Pressing 3 or 4 times for unintentional goofing is no problem but try to refrain yourself at all cost! If shooting people is not necessarily part of your photography expertise, then Leica may not be the best choice. However, if photographing tall buildings with beautiful architecture caught your attention since young, then Leica may just provide you some good tools to achieve that goal! Wide lenses also help capture more details within buildings across streets.
